Aliens

Aliens is a science fiction/action film, where Sigourney Weaver, tries to defend the earth from a dangerous alien life form.

Deep Impact

A comet was going to completely destroy USA. Fortunately, it comet hit the ocean and destroyed the eastern part.

Fargo

Fargo is an academy awar winning movie, where a man hires two criminals to abduct his wife so that he can have money from his father-in-law by saying that he needs money for ransom to pay off the criminals. This movie has lots of symbolism; for example, the man with the axe and the white color of snow. The elaboration of specific scenes will come soon.

The Devil's Own

An American police officer helps a visitor from Northern Ireland, but later he discovers the dark side of the visitor.

The X Files

One of my favorite science-fiction movie is X-Files. X-File is a TV series, but due to X File TV serie's popularity, director Chris Carter made the movie X Files: Fight for Future. Starred by David Duchovny and Jillian Anderson, the stars of X-Files TV series, the movie is breath taking.

King Kong

King Kong is a 2005 remake of the 1933 film of the same name about a fictional giant ape called Kong. This is a movie that took me to another world by its enigmatic presentaion of nature and lost world and by wonderful acting of actress Ann Darrow and actor Adrien Brody.

Equilibrium

Directed by Kurt Wimmer, Equilibrium is a Science Fiction film that portrays a dystopian world, where people are not allowed to have any emotion. In such an utopian world, people were suffering as they were tired by being like robots. The main character John Preston, actor Christian Bale, helps the dystopian world to be free from dystopia.

Blade Runner

Based on Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? by Philip K. Dick, Blade Runner is a 1982 Science Fiction film, directed by Ridley Scott and starring Harrison Ford, Rutger Hauer, and Sean Young. This film again portrays a dystopian society, like Equilibrium or Gattaca, where genetically manufactured beings called replicants, visually indistinguishable from adult humans, are used for dangerous or menial work on Earth. Following a replicant uprising, replicants become illegal on Earth and specialist police called "blade runners" are trained to hunt down replicants.

The Ring

Directed by Gore Verbinski, The Ring is a 2002 horror film, which is based on Kôji Suzuki's novel Ring. This film shows how a mysterious cursed video brings horror, chaos, and death in people's life. There is also a sequel for this movie that shows how Naomi Watts, character Rachel, gets rid of the cursed video tape to save her son and herself.

Kill Bill

Written and directed by Quentin Tarantino and starred by Uma Thurman, Kill Bill film is a an epic-length revenge drama. Kill Bill film is consists of two volume: Kill Bill 1 and Kill Bill 2. This film shows Beatrix Kiddo AKA The Bride's, portrayed by Uma Thurman, life before her setback, how Kiddo takes her revenge and, lastly, how she gets united with her daughter.

Gattaca

Gattaca is a 1997 science fiction drama film written and directed by Andrew Niccol, starring Ethan Hawke, Uma Thurman and Jude Law. The film presents a biopunk vision of a society driven by liberal eugenics, where people with best gene gets the best job and life. This dramatic movie portrays genetically inferior Vincent Freeman's, portrayed by Ethan Hawke, lies and struggles to have his dream job.

Saw

Directed by James Wan and starred by Tobin Bell, Saw is an American horror film. Due to public's demand, many sequels, Saw 2, Saw 3, Saw 4, Saw 5, got released. Though there are several Saw movies, my favorite is Saw 3 as it is very dramatic.

A.I. Artificial Intelligence

Directed, produced and co-written by Steven Spielberg, A.I. tells the story of David, a child-like android programmed with unique ability to love. Though in early 1970s development of A.I. began with Stanley Kubrick, Steven Spielberg finished the movie at 2001 after Stanley Kubrick's death. This is a touching movie, and actor Haley Joel Osment nicely portrays the character David, the child-like android.

Anaconda

A film crew encounters a giant anaconda and falls in troulble in remote Amazon jungle.
